Performance Health Joins APTQI’s New Vendor Affiliate Membership Program

WARRENVILLE, ILLINOIS, April 8, 2024
Performance Health is pleased to share that as of June 1st, 2023, we are the inaugural vendor affiliate member of the Alliance for Physical Therapy Quality and Innovation (APTQI). As a vendor affiliate member of APTQI, Performance Health will support the coalition’s efforts to advance positive legislative and regulatory change to support physical therapy professionals and patients across the U.S.

APTQI works to improve quality, protect patient access to care, and stabilize the future of the physical therapy profession. Performance Health will aim to support these mission objectives and broaden APTQI’s grassroots efforts.

“We are honored to join APTQI as their first vendor affiliate member and look forward to supporting their mission to protect access to quality physical therapy for all who need care,” said Greg Nulty, CEO of Performance Health. “Joining APTQI as a vendor affiliate member advances our company’s mission to help people feel good, perform better, and live their best. Advocacy is a critical element to achieving that mission by calling for public policies that enable access to the healthcare and tools individuals need to rehabilitate, recover, and remain strong and independent while aging.”

“We look forward to working with Performance Health as we advocate for policies that support success across the physical therapy provider community, particularly for our patients. We are thrilled to have Performance Health on board as our first vendor affiliate member. With a reputation as a trusted partner throughout the provider community, we know they will be critically important to our future advocacy work in DC and across the country,” said Terrence Sims, APTQI Vendor Affiliate Committee Chair.

About APTQI
APTQI is an aligned group of therapists and practices who share a common vision for the future of their profession. They unite community-based physical therapy practices to advocate for the profession in the areas of payment reform, quality initiatives, patient outcomes and innovation with a goal to establish physical therapy as a clinically appropriate treatment of choice with the best value for patients and payers. APTQI works to educate healthcare policy influencers on physical therapy’s role in the healthcare delivery system in order to advance innovative policy solutions to stabilize payments and reduce regulatory burden to improve access to community-based physical therapy services.
